Individual DIL-style pins, applicable to edge of PCB (of 1 mm thickness). Contrary to machined round-cross-section pins, they don't damage the socket upon multiple insertion. Possible applications include SMD-to-DIL conversion boards for prototyping, replacements for obsolete DIL parts, connector/emulation header replacement. |
